Ambassadors of China, Germany, the Czech Republic, Qatar, and the UAE visited the AIRITOM Free Zone. Accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, the Governor of Surkhandarya Region, Ulugbek Kosimov, and Afghanistan’s representative, Ismatilla Irgashev, the delegation was introduced to the free zone’s concept.

During the visit, the guests explored various facilities, including the @hgi_termez_airitom hotel, @akfa_medline_airitom medical clinic, a business school, a large shopping center, restaurants, a hostel, production workshops, and a logistics center. Delegates were briefed on the conditions, opportunities, and benefits offered in the free zone. They also visited the “Hairatan” Bridge, which connects Uzbekistan and Afghanistan across the Amu Darya River.

Subsequently, the ambassadors toured the AIRITOM Logistics transport and logistics center. Spanning approximately 50 hectares, this facility comprises four hangars, each covering 6,000 square meters, with a total storage capacity of 1,500 tons. This transport and logistics center plays a key role in ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of goods from Uzbekistan to neighboring countries and international markets.

The AIRITOM Free Zone aims to foster international cooperation and strengthen economic ties. This collaboration not only enhances relations between Uzbekistan and the represented countries but also opens new business and investment opportunities in the region. It is anticipated that the development of infrastructure and entrepreneurial conveniences in the free zone will attract new investors and stimulate economic growth in the country.

Shops are available exclusively for rent in accordance with the regulations of the AIRITOM Free Zone administration.

Uzbekistan citizens can freely visit the AIRITOM Free Zone by presenting a valid passport or ID. All purchased goods can be taken through customs without restrictions, provided they fall within the established limits.
