Visit of the Afghan Delegation to AIRITOM Free Zone

As part of a practical visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, a delegation led by Afghanistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Abdul Salam Hanafi, and the Governor of Balkh Province, Mr. Mustafa Wafa, visited the AIRITOM Free Zone, an international trade hub in the city of Termez.

During the visit, the delegation explored the facilities designed to support business operations, logistics, and service provision within the zone. Detailed discussions were held regarding the existing infrastructure, operational projects, and prospects for further development.

Both sides expressed their readiness to support and facilitate the organization and implementation of future plans, paving the way for deeper cooperation between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan in business and investment sectors.

We are located 12 km from the city center, near the “Hayraton” border post, in the “Airitom” neighborhood of the Termez district. For your convenience, free shuttle buses operate to our complex. Please bring a valid ID or passport!

Shops are available exclusively for rent in accordance with the regulations of the AIRITOM Free Zone administration.

Uzbekistan citizens can freely visit the AIRITOM Free Zone by presenting a valid passport or ID. All purchased goods can be taken through customs without restrictions, provided they fall within the established limits.
